WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? East Anglia, UK

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? A key member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the Sales Director, you will be tasked with achieving maximum sales and profitability of a significantly-sized network of outlets across multiple locations. You will be responsible for negotiating terms, stock holding and marketing for the premium brand. For the right person, this is an exceptional career move demanding the highest standards of professional leadership and management.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • You’ll be able to demonstrate significant managerial, sales and team leadership experience, ideally within a multi-departmental organisation or a retail dealership environment in the agricultural machinery sector
  • A strategic and commercial thinker, you will understand the need to work within a structure designed to achieve or exceed key objectives
  • You’ll have a good technical knowledge of agricultural machinery, and the demands of the end user sector on their machinery
    To be accountable for your own decisions
  • Living in or prepared to relocate to Essex, you should have a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel both within the UK and at times overseas
  • Sound knowledge of the Agricultural trade and ideally will have been involved in selling agricultural equipment
  • An ability to work under pressure and multi task in a large scale, complex multi-franchise environment
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the business, maintaining and upholding company standards
  • Excellent customer relationship skills, both face to face and over the telephone
  • The ability to recognize and implement opportunities into the business 
  • Be able to negotiate terms and stocking commitments with suppliers to adhere to the company’s policies
  • To be comfortable analyzing numbers and identifying trends from data using pivot tables and other mechanisms
  • Strong and up-to-date IT skills 
  • To be able to mediate and compromise within a team, working closely with other departments within the business to further the overall performance of the company
  • To be self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Strong leadership skills and to be able to act quickly and decisively.
