WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE? Defining and delivering the overall marketing strategy for this large sales organisation, this is a senior role within the Company’s commercial team requiring significant professional experience in marketing and marketing communications, brand communication, digital and social media, SEO, CRM and lead generation management.

WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? 

  • Operationally experienced, and having managed a team of marketing professionals, you’ll bring a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience at a strategic level
  • From a strong agricultural background – educationally and /or professionally, you’ll have good all-round knowledge of farming and empathy for the agricultural / rural sector
  • You’ll bring excellent and high-quality content writing experience and instil a culture of high standards in your team
  • You’ll understand how to integrate CRM with marketing systems and quantify lead generation and capture
  • Your experience in brand management will be significant, promoting the Company and its products as the go-to supplier across multiple media platforms and channels
  • Commercially focused, you can demonstrate the connection between front line marketing strategy and increased sales activity
  • You’ll possess a creative mindset, vision and determination to succeed
  • Experience in event planning is important, building up pre-event marketing activities to maximise ROI
  • You’re up to speed with current and future digital marketing methods, understand SEO and how to increase the Company’s online presence
  • You will have a recognised marketing qualification
  • You’ll have experience in planning and delivering tactical sales campaigns in conjunction with sales management and evaluate campaign effectiveness through data analysis
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills at all levels, be comfortable in public or media facing situations, with a good all-round standard of IT literacy
  • Living in or prepared to relocate to North Yorkshire, a clean driving licence is required, and you will be comfortable with regular travel
