WHAT’S THE JOB? DEMONSTRATION AND INSTALLATION SPECIALIST

WHO’S THE EMPLOYER? The UK subsidiary of a major player in agricultural machinery manufacturing, highly respected and a go-to brand for industry-leading professional growers and contractors. With a global presence, exceptional investment in R&D and with a highly desirable product portfolio, the Company has experienced consistent and positive growth in recent years.

WHAT’S THE INDUSTRY? Agricultural Machinery

HOW WILL I BE REWARDED? With a competitive salary plus company vehicle

WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED?  East Anglia / East Midlands (with regular travel)

WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE? The ultimate learning experience – hands on with demonstrations and installations of premium brand machinery, UK-wide and potentially overseas too, engaging with some of the UK’s most progressive arable farming operations and contracting businesses, the role gives you the opportunity to make an impression with an extensive and growing customer base and become the go-to person for specialist product knowledge of this greatly admired brand.

Having proven your demonstration and installation skills, this is a role with built-in progression for the right ambition and mindset, meaning your career could step up to a more commercially focused sales and account management position with your own territory and uplift in earnings to reflect the additional responsibilities.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • You’re a people person first and foremost – confident and comfortable in a variety of environments and capable of engaging with farming professionals at all levels
  • In addition, you’ll bring plenty of operator experience to the role – you’re at home setting up, operating and optimising complex modern agricultural machinery, not afraid to get your hands dirty when required
  • An outgoing communicator, you’ll be able to train operators, highlight specific features and ensure high standards of customer care in the installation process
  • You’ll be involved in events and exhibitions, handling and following up enquiries
  • You’ll bring plenty of energy, initiative, organisational ability and a good all-round standard of IT literacy; sales-focused ambitions will also be welcomed
  • You’ll possess a clean UK driving licence and the ability / desire to travel regularly throughout the UK and occasionally overseas

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? If you’ve got what it takes to excel in this excellent role and you’re passionate about machinery with a strong desire to succeed, send us a copy of your latest CV (in complete confidence), and a little bit about yourself. Please email it directly to james.garrod@jptrett.com
