WHAT’S THE JOB? TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

WHAT’S THE TERRITORY? Scotland and Northern England

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE Based from your home address, you will be responsible for managing all sales activity within the territory. The role requires the flexibility and organisational capacity for regular travel and nights away from home, ensuring regular dealer and customer call cycles. You will support your dealers in helping them achieve annual business objectives, regularly review dealer performance as well as monitoring the competitive dealer landscape.

WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED? 

  • You’re a successful equipment sales professional from the groundcare, golf and turf, agricultural or ATV sector, either retail or wholesale
  • You’re a natural, outgoing communicator capable of engaging with industry professionals at all levels and articulating brand value, brand proposition and product benefits in a clear and persuasive style
  • Financially astute, you show an in-depth, detailed understanding of the OEM – dealer commercial relationship, capable of encouraging increased dealer performance, defending margins and adding value to the sales process
  • You have experience of working to multiple commercial objectives and can demonstrate how to over-achieve
  • You have an excellent organisational ability, underpinned by a strong level of autonomy to ensure regular contact with key personnel, being contactable and visible within the dealer network
  • A healthy standard of IT literacy is required, and you’ll be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
  • With a motivation to progress your career and represent a hugely respected brand, you’ll be located in Southern Scotland / Northern England, possess a clean driving licence, and be comfortable with regular travel throughout the territory and occasionally overseas
