TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE Home based with regular travel, you will be responsible for managing and developing the dealer aftersales function within the designated territory. The role requires a strong, up to date technical pedigree in the agricultural machinery sector in order to understand and develop key activities including dealer standards, warranty, training, spare parts marketing, dealer aftersales commercial business, fault reporting and escalation, customer satisfaction and more.
WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- Your career to date will show progression within the agricultural machinery dealership or manufacturer sector and you possess an excellent standard of technical knowledge, supported by a formal engineering qualification
- You’ll be experienced in spare parts business, in particular how to help dealers achieve manufacturer objectives
- You’re a natural, outgoing communicator with a strong background in customer service and expectation management, capable of understanding and resolving a wide range of customer satisfaction scenarios
- A healthy understanding of dealer aftersales and service business will be useful, and you will be familiar with online technical support systems and warranty processes
- You have an excellent organisational ability, underpinned by a strong level of autonomy to ensure regular contact with key personnel, being contactable and visible within the dealer network
- Commercially-minded, you will show a healthy understanding of how to optimise aftersales revenue through the promotion of connected services, extended warranty packages etc
- A healthy standard of IT literacy is required - Microsoft Office applications, CRM etc and you’ll be comfortable with conducting training and delivering presentations
- With a motivation to progress your career and represent a technology-focused manufacturer, you’ll be located in the North of England / North Midlands, possess a clean driving licence, and be comfortable with regular travel throughout the territory and occasionally overseas
