WHAT’S THE JOB? SENIOR ENGINEER – BIOGAS CAPTURE PRODUCTS
WHO’S THE EMPLOYER? An organisation leading the use of agricultural waste gas emissions industry in the UK. Responsible for leading the design and development of the innovative solutions to the waste from large scale livestock farming, reducing energy costs, carbon footprint and reduced inputs.

WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design and engineering efforts to optimize the companies floating cover products for biogas capture and emission reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of slurry lagoon installations.
- Conduct research and development activities to continuously improve the performance and reliability of biogas systems.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to biogas production and utilisation.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development within the biogas engineering domain.
WHAT QUALITIES / SKILLS DO I NEED:
- Experience in biogas engineering, including design, implementation, and optimization of biogas systems.
- Strong knowledge of anaerobic digestion processes, gas handling systems, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for modelling, simulation, and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in biogas systems.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- A willingness to train or develop in areas such as PVC, welding, and fabrication
