HOW WILL I BE REWARDED? Commensurate with experience and ability + car allowance
WHAT’S THE LOCATION? (HOME BASED) The East to include East Anglia, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire - Nationwide at times
WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE? You will be responsible for identifying, appraising and signing up feedstock producers (Farmers / Landowners) for the development of an exciting new generation of subsidy-free AD plants. The business focusses heavily on the sustainability of feedstocks and therefore you will have a fantastic opportunity to help farming businesses produce carbon neutral/negative feedstocks across their rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and deliver feedstock supply and digestate offtake contracts for the organisations proposed sites in your area
- Encourage innovation and communication in feedstock production strategy through agronomic and practical knowledge transfer
- Support our planning and development teams where required through the planning permission process including attending public consultation meetings
- Ensure positive contribution in strategy and financial returns from delivery of projects
- Contribute to and be aware of wider Business Development opportunities
WHAT QUALITIES / SKILLS DO I NEED:
- Degree level or Equivalent professional qualification and experience is essential
- Agricultural background and / or knowledge in modern commercial farming
- Proven background and success in sales / Business Development
- You will be home based with regular UK Travel
