TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? Accountable for all commercial and customer-oriented activity within the UK, the Country Manager oversees a team of professionals covering sales and aftersales, with the necessary decision-making authority to ensure a range of commercial and people objectives are met or exceeded.
WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?
- You’re an experienced manager, with a successful background in running, developing and managing high performing teams or departments
- Your background will be in the capital equipment business – agricultural, construction forestry or professional groundcare equipment in particular
- Business and commercially minded, with sound financial acumen, you should possess an excellent knowledge of capital equipment sales, skilled in presenting and securing win-win commercial proposals
- You uphold high professional standards and seek to instil these in your team at all times to ensure excellent customer and supplier relationships, team growth and personal development
- You must be a positive people person, capable both of energising and inspiring those around you as well as possessing strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with external customers and colleagues in other markets
- You’ll be skilled in IT, CRM, digital systems and process and possess a strong organisational ability to help drive the business towards its mid to long term strategic objectives
- Residing in Southern Scotland or the North of England with good motorway access, you’ll have a clean driving licence and be comfortable with regular travel, including overseas visits
