You’ll be tasked with developing and growing a profitable sales territory, working with livestock producers to deliver personalised nutrition solutions. Your goal will be to enhance herd performance and operational efficiency, driving profitability for both the client and the company. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with customers will be key to your success, while attending industry events, product demonstrations, and farmer meetings.
WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?
- A strong agricultural background with a deep understanding of livestock production, farm operations, and nutritional needs.
- Proven experience in sales drirect to farms (B2C), ideally within the livestock or agricultural sectors, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage a busy schedule, ensuring you attend relevant industry events and follow up on opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building abilities that have previously led to increased business and client retention.
- Interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with IT proficiency (CRM, MS Office, and social media).
- Understanding of the livestock feed industry, including market trends, future opportunities, and challenges.
- A clean UK driving licence and a willingness to travel regularly within the territory (with occasional overseas trips).
