Home-based, with regular travel throughout the territory, this is a highly varied and genuine ‘no-two-days-the-same’ B2B role focused on growing sales via a dealer network and potentially identifying new dealer opportunities. The role requires energy and drive, a passion for modern agricultural machinery and the desire to make an impact in a rapidly changing industry.
WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?
- You will be target driven and have well-proven sales experience (5 years plus, ideally Business to Business) within the UK agricultural machinery sector
- You’ll have a good understanding of the manufacturer-dealer commercial relationship and how to achieve best outcomes from this partnership
- A confident and articulate communicator, you have good interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- You have a background in practical farming, at home in the tractor cab, you’re conversant with modern machinery and technology systems and take a hands-on approach to optimising machine performance in the field
- You’re familiar with all forms of arable crop production and the challenges faced by growers, understanding and being able to articulate the agronomic benefits of the Company’s products
- You’re highly organised, a good planner and possess a good all-round standard of IT literacy, including MS Office and CRM
- You will enjoy regular travel, reside in or be prepared to relocate to Central or Eastern England and possess a clean driving licence
