WHAT’S THE JOB? BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - GERMANY

WHO’S THE EMPLOYER? A high performing OEM with a global presence in the power testing equipment and related sectors. The Company manufactures and distributes specialist equipment and is a recognised market leader in their field of expertise.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? With ownership of and responsibility for all commercial activity in the German market, the role is highly varied and requires a committed and energetic approach to developing business in various industry segments and sales channels.

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • You’ll have a proven business development background (minimum 5 years) with complex technical equipment
  • Your career background should show progression and achievements within B2B sales
  • You’re a proven self-starter, able to function autonomously, with the intelligence, insight and organisational ability to contribute to and deliver a business plan and schedule
  • Results-oriented, you take ownership of and demonstrate accountability for your activity
  • You’ll have a good all-round standard of IT literacy, including use of CRM and other business support resources
  • A degree or similar qualification in engineering, electrical or electronic engineering or business management
  • You must have fluent / native language skills in both German and English
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions
  • Previous experience of working with international distributors and developing sales channels within a market or region
  • You should reside in Germany, within commutable distance of major airports and with easy access to main motorways, be comfortable with regular travel and possess a clean driving licence
