TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? This is an important role within in the business, and is pivotal to maintaining the company’s standard of service, while making the Service Department a profitable and successful part of the business. There is a strong focus on customer satisfaction leading to increased sales and repeat business. Another key role is to manage the warranty processes for the various manufacturers to ensure a high level of reimbursement.
WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?
- We’ll need to know that you are an enthusiastic and inspirational team leader capable of motivating others
- How well can you manage your workload and perform under pressure, allocating resources according to priority and urgency of repair?
- We’d like to see a strong interest in promoting the highest standards of customer service and communicating effectively across the board: customers (new and existing), colleagues, supplier representatives alike
- Your career to date will have a strong technical, product support, parts or aftersales theme (ideally within agricultural machinery) and you’ll have a healthy empathy for modern farming practices in order to understand the requirements of a large and diverse customer base
- A healthy standard of IT literacy is required, including MS Office applications, CRM and experience with online service / warranty systems
- Residing in or relocating to the Essex area, you should be prepared for some travel (occasionally overseas) and have the flexibility to accommodate seasonal working hours
