Overview
An exceptional opportunity for a senior agricultural professional to lead the establishment and management of one of North Africa’s largest arable farming operations. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of a large-scale, irrigated cropping enterprise—producing high-quality forage crops such as corn silage and alfalfa to support a major dairy operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, farm development, operational performance, sustainability, and adherence to international best practices in crop production and biosecurity.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and operational rollout of a large-scale arable farm complex, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and sustainability across ~100,000 + hectares.

Direct strategic planning, including CAPEX/OPEX management, water resource planning, and long-term crop rotation strategies.

Manage large teams and resources to ensure consistent, high-quality forage production (targeting over 1.9 million tons annually).

Oversee crop management, seed selection, irrigation, pest control, and storage operations to optimize yield and quality.

Implement rigorous HSE, quality assurance, and biosecurity standards.

Drive innovation, sustainability, and cost efficiency through data-driven decision making and modern agricultural technologies.

Build, develop, and inspire a diverse multicultural workforce (approx. 2,000 employees).

Collaborate cross-functionally with dairy and processing divisions to ensure seamless integration of feed supply and production targets.
Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field; Master’s preferred.

10–15 years’ senior management experience in large-scale arable farming, including pivot irrigation systems.

Proven record in developing and managing high-output crop production at international standards.

Strong project management, financial, and operational planning skills.

Experience leading large, multicultural teams and managing complex agricultural developments.

Fluent in English and French; Arabic advantageous.
