TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? Joining a team of experienced agricultural machinery design professionals, the role will manage various design projects, taking initial sketches and 3D modelling through prototyping in to practical, market-ready machinery.
WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- You’re an experienced engineering design professional with thorough knowledge of 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks
- You ‘ll have experience in mechatronics, understanding how to fully integrate and automate mechanical and electrical systems
- Your career history includes experience in the agricultural machinery sector, in order for the product management process to align with industry and end user demands
- You’re mechanically minded, with a hands-on practical approach, showing a thorough knowledge of machine function, materials, fabrication and manufacturing processes
- You’ll have a recognised degree level qualification in agricultural, mechanical or mechatronic engineering
- You have a positive, can-do attitude, you’re resourceful and focused on achieving results within a given timeframe and a strong ability to relate designs to practical in-field operation and performance
- You have a positive, collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in and contributing to a team environment with initiative, and the ongoing development of existing and new products
- You’ll have good all-round communication and interpersonal skills, along with a high standard of IT literacy
- Resident in or prepared to relocate to the North-West
