WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE? Reporting to the CEO, the Deputy CEO’s responsibilities are centred around the Company’s day to day operation and commercial function, which reflect the long-term strategy and future vision. The Deputy CEO will develop high-performing teams at all levels, ensuring that structure and systems fully align with strategic goals. The Deputy CEO will be highly visible both within the business and externally with customers and suppliers, demonstrating excellent leadership and decision-making capabilities in the best interest of the Company.
WHAT EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE WILL I BRING TO THE ROLE?
- You’re a highly experienced, degree-level educated senior leader continuing your upwards career trajectory in the agricultural machinery business (wholesale or retail), with a first-class track record and minimum of ten years in management
- You will bring significant knowledge and expertise from the agricultural equipment sector, showing deep understanding of the global and local economic factors which influence business performance
- You will need to demonstrate exceptional experience in managing and measuring budgets and overall financial performance, underpinned by a robust reporting structure
- You’re business focused, with a creative streak that embraces change management, adaptability and entrepreneurship
- You will bring excellent commercial know-how and negotiation skills to the role, capable of presenting win-win proposals and ensuring that this cascades to all customer facing teams
- You understand the rapidly-changing world of business management systems, and have led transformational projects which result in fit-for-purpose, digitised and automated processes which improve business performance and customer experience
- You’ll bring first-class people, interpersonal and relationship building skills to the role, with robust evidence in your career history of developing teams, identifying future leaders and ensuring retention of key talent
- You’re a natural problem solver and decision-maker focused on solutions rather than obstacles
- Resident in (or prepared to relocate to) Romania with the right to work, you must have business-level, spoken and written Romanian language skills (or have fluency in other Romance languages eg: French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, plus excellent language acquisition skills) as well as a minimum of business level English language. You should be comfortable with regular travel, both domestic and international.
