TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE This highly varied role is designed to further increase the Company’s market presence, supporting colleagues, dealers, end users and other stakeholders across a range of activities and business areas. Based at the Company’s headquarters in the Eastern Counties, and with regular travel throughout the UK and at times overseas, the core role requirements are a passion for modern, technology-driven machinery, a practical nature with the emphasis on operator rather than engineering skills, strong all-round communication and IT skills, events management and product marketing.
The role could suit a recent graduate, a service technician with sales ambitions, a skilled operator with a good commercial brain – whichever route you come from, bags of enthusiasm, a passion for machinery and a healthy knowledge of product marketing are the key building blocks for this excellent position with a blue-chip machinery brand.
WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- You’ll have plenty of recent experience in the tractor cab operating technology-focused machinery, familiar with control systems and touch screen friendly
- A good understanding of events management and marketing techniques is required; you’ll be the lead person on designing and setting up events of various sizes, and you should be familiar with social media, marketing content and brand communication
- Passionate about machinery and the latest trends in technology, you’ll have a strong interest in the machinery world, be up to speed with all the latest developments and be able to communicate this to a wide range of personalities
- You’re a naturally outgoing person, good at communicating with a wide range of profiles – machinery operator, farm manager, business owner, sales professionals and more, comfortable talking to an audience and proficient in MS Office applications
- You’ll be a strong team player who can also be relied upon to manage their own time and schedule effectively, displaying good all-round organisational ability, underpinned by self-motivation and high standards
- A full UK driving licence is required, you’re comfortable with regular travel and nights away from home (occasionally overseas) and reside in or be prepared to relocate to the East of England
