JP Trett Ltd is working with a highly respected and forward-thinking food company seeking a skilled Field Manager to drive their UK agricultural supply chain forward. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the planting, growing, and harvesting of vegetable crops to include roots and legumes, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
✅ Overseeing all aspects of root crop production, from planting through to harvest ensuring top quality.
✅ Driving efficiency and best practices across the agricultural supply chain ensuing crop quality.
✅ Managing existing resources and contracts while introducing new and profitable realationships.
✅ Ensuring high standards in crop management and operational performance.
✅ Budgeting effectively and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for an experienced farm leader who brings energy, innovation, and technical expertise in fresh produce production. The ideal candidate will have:
✔ 3+ years of experience as a Farm Manager in a fresh produce business.
✔ A strong background in crop management and agricultural operations.
✔ Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
✔ The ability to develop profitable and sustainable growing strategies.
✔ A degree in Agriculture or a related field (preferred).
