REGIONAL COMMERCIAL CONSULTANT – CENTRAL ASIA

JP Trett is representing an international biological technology business seeking to establish and accelerate commercial activity across Central Asia and selected neighbouring agricultural markets.
Priority territories include:
Kazakhstan | Uzbekistan | Kyrgyzstan | Tajikistan | Turkmenistan | Azerbaijan | Georgia | Surrounding Markets
This is a highly autonomous commercial mandate suited to somebody who already knows the territory, its agricultural businesses and its routes to market.
Your Mandate
You will act as a senior commercial representative within the region, identifying where innovative biological technologies have the strongest market fit and developing the relationships required to commercialise them.
Key responsibilities include:

Mapping distributors, major growers, agricultural holdings and agronomy networks.

Identifying the strongest crop and product opportunities by territory.

Establishing distributor and strategic commercial relationships.

Developing opportunities with large-scale farming businesses.

Identifying field-trial and demonstration partners.

Building a qualified regional opportunity pipeline.

Providing insight into competition, pricing and routes to market.

Supporting negotiations with prospective partners.

Advising on local commercial practices and market-entry considerations.
The Individual
This mandate requires genuine regional knowledge and relationships.
We are particularly interested in professionals who have commercialised:
Crop Protection | Biologicals | Plant Nutrition | Fertilisers | Seeds | Biostimulants | Agricultural Technology
Experience within cereals, cotton, potatoes, vegetables, horticulture and other significant regional crops could be particularly relevant.
Russian and/or relevant regional language capability would be advantageous.
You may currently operate as an independent consultant or commercial agent, or perhaps have previously held positions such as Country Manager, Regional Director or senior agricultural sales leader.
What matters is your ability to access the market, establish credibility and turn relationships into commercial opportunities.
